More info about Stage 2 :
In the printer mode, the smartchip management system reads out the ink volume on the smartchip card in
the smartcard reader. If no valid card or no ink volume is found, the ink manager system will scan all
cassette slots. It is then possible to transfer the ink value rest on the smartchips. In that case, the ink
manager system will add all the ink volumes together to a TOTAL INK VOLUME, independent from the ink
colour.
