4.8 CONNECTING THE PRINTER TO YOUR PC 

Please find below some instructions how to connect the printer to your PC. 
 

4.8.1 System requirements 

 
To use your printer with the driver, you need a PC that complies with the following system requirements : 
 
System OS 

Windows 2000 / XP  

CPU 

Pentium IV 1 GHz or higher 

Memory (RAM) 

512 MB or more 

Hard disk space 

10 GB or more 

 
 
 
 

 

Notes :

The memory requirements may vary depending on the type of applications you are 
using and the complexity of the document you want to print. 

•

 

OCÉ recommends you to use a hard disk and RAM memory as large as possible. 

 

 
 
 

4.8.2 Selecting cables
