5.6.2.2 On the fly cleaning
While printing, it could be possible that some nozzles drop out, in that case, perform a little, normal or
powerful cleaning.
Please follow the 4 steps below to perform a cleaning.
Step 1 : Go to the “Printing menu”
Step 2 : Press the [F2] button on the operation panel when following is displayed :
* Printing*
Dist.Adj. Cleaning Å F2
F3 Æ A: T B: T C: T D:T
Wait Init. Heat Sys.
Step 3 : Select the heads to be cleanded.
•
Select the heads with the [F1] key.
•
The current head selection will be displayed in the lower right corner of the display.
•
To deselect one or more heads, select the concerned head again. It will disappear from
the list.
*Cleaning*
F1 Æ Select head ALL Å F2
F3 Æ Normal

F2 Choose which heads need to be cleaned (ALL, head 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8)
F3 Little, normal or a powerful cleaning?
Step 4 : Press the [ENTER] key to start the cleaning procedure.
A little cleaning takes about 1 minute.
A normal or powerful cleaning take about 2 minutes.
