10. DVR OPERATION USING REMOTE CONTROL
As it was mentioned earlier the DVR package includes IR remote control. The remote control
operational range depends on battery condition and varies from few to dozen meters. One remote
control can control up to 9 DVR under condition that each DVR has individual indicator . To set
indicator to DVR the button
STOP on the front panel of the DVR should be pressed and while holding
it pressed then press numeric button (e.g. 1 ). Both buttons should be hold for a period of around 3
seconds. After this setting the DVR has indicator nr 1. If there is a need to change indicator the above
settings should be repeated only then selecting different desired numeric button. Next DVRs should
have different indicators.
Warning: Setting Indicator Procedure should be repeated after each DVR reboot.
The remote control buttons are grouped depending on their specific functions for a simple and
convenient DVR operation.
