ALARM CONNECTIONS

9. ALARM CONNECTIONS

Digital  Multiplexers  NV-DVR900  and  NV-DVR1600  feature  accordingly  9  and  16  alarm  inputs
allowing  to  connect  external  devices.  Joints  for  cables  connection  are  equipped  in  convenient
removable screw joints terminals. The first pin from the left side in the first joint is a ground pin (G)
following  pins  are  alarm  inputs  1...8.  Similar  in  the  second  joint  the  first  pin  from  the  left  side
is a ground pin (G) following pins are alarm inputs 9...16.

The inputs operate in TTL standard for this reason appropriate current capacity voltage creating for
each input circuit like shown on the diagram below. Alarm input activation occurs when low logic state
on the alarm input is detected.

Warning: Both alarm inputs and alarm relays are not protected against lightings and current
rushes on power supply. User should provide appropriate surge protection devices.
