ALARM CONNECTIONS

Digital Multiplexers NV-DVR900 and NV-DVR1600 feature 4 alarm relays allowing to activate
external devices. Joint for cable connection is equipped in convenient removable screw joints terminal.
First pin from left side is a ground pin (G), following pins are alarm relays 1...4.

Current-carrying capacity of each relay can not exceed 100mA. Directly to relays LED diodes can be
connected  creating  for  each  relay  circuit  like  shown  on  the  diagram  below.  If  system  requires
connection  of  external  devices  with  high  power  usage  additional  circuits  should  be  used    e.g.  with
additional  relay.  Alarm  relays  can  operate  as  NC  (Normal  Close)  or  Normal  Open  (menu  settings
described in chapter 3.3)

Warning: Both alarm inputs and alarm relays are not protected against lightings and current
rushes on power supply. User should provide appropriate surge protection devices.
