You can erase the memory on the Novak Sentry Data Logger via the Novak Sentry Data Acquisition software.
HINT:
The Novak Sentry Data Logger device memory can be erased directly by pressing and holding the push
button on the device.

The Novak Sentry Data Logger must be connected via USB to the computer. Refer to the
USB Connection
section for more details.
You can do one of the following to erase the data from the device:
Click on the
icon next to
Erase Device Memory
when the
connection menu display appears.
On the menu bar, select
Tools>Erase Device Memory
.
On the right lower corner of the application display, click on the arrow
next to the
icon. Select
Erase Device Memory
.
On the tool bar, click on the
Erase Device Memory
icon.
The following dialog box will appear after performing one of the above steps. Click on the
Yes
button to
continue. Otherwise, click on the
No
button to cancel.
While erasing the memory, the red LED will be lit. The system may take up to 60 seconds to erase all of the
memory.
WARNING!
While the system is deleting the data on the device, USB communication is not operational.
Please wait until the red LED turns off before performing any other tasks. Failure to do so may cause the Sentry
Data Acquisition software to stop responding.
