RS422
Configures the serial data outputs.
RS422 OUTP. 1 (Output 1)
Configures the RS-422 output 1 and the Compass Monitor output
(TTL to NAVIGAT compasses and Switch-Over Unit).
MAGN. SELECT (Magnetic Select)
Selects the output sentence for magnetic compass heading
data.
Settings:
HCHDG
The output transmits magnetic compass head-
ing using the NMEA $--HDG sentence with
talker ID “HC”.
HCHDT
The output transmits magnetic compass head-
ing using the NMEA $--HDT sentence with talker
ID “HC”.
HCTHS
The output transmits magnetic compass head-
ing using the NMEA $--THS sentence with talker
ID “HC”.
HCHDM
The output transmits magnetic compass head-
ing using the NMEA $--HDM sentence with
talker ID “HC”.
STATUS SELECT
Selects the output sentence for navigation status data (pro-
prietary sentence).
Settings:
PPLAN
The output transmits nav. status data using the
$PPLAN sentence.
PPNSD
The output transmits nav. status data using the
$PPNSD sentence.
The “PPNSD” address field is not IEC 61162-con-
form. Select this option only if required by older
equipment.
