Alarm messages

Acknowledging External Alarms locally

Depending on whether the CAM is active or inactive (respectively not
present), the local acknowledgement of external alarm is handled differ-
ently:

•

When CAM is INACTIVE and an external alarm is acknowledged
locally at the respective gyrocompass, the alarm indication at the
NAVITWIN IV is cleared automatically and the alarm is NOT longer
present in the NAVITWIN IV alarm list.

•

When CAM is ACTIVE and an external alarm is acknowledged locally
at the respective gyrocompass, the alarm indication at the
NAVITWIN IV is cleared automatically and the alarm stays as
acknowledged in the NAVITWIN IV alarm list.
