2-8 Operating Menu
Navigating the Menu
In the menu mode, the operator may navigate through the menu using
the
Right , Left , Up and Down arrow keys.
If sub-menus are present below a given menu level, a cursor ( ) at the
left of the window indicates the current position within the menu.
Alternative key functions may also be used to navigate the menu:
• Whenever a cursor is shown at the left of the window, pressing
ENTER
enters the respective sub-menu.
• Positioning the cursor to the “<BACK” option in a sub-menu and
pressing
ENTER returns to the next higher menu level.
• Positioning the cursor to the “<<EXIT” option at the top menu level
and pressing
ENTER
exits the menu mode and returns to normal
operational mode.
Move the cursor to the required position with the
Up/Down
arrow keys,
then press the
Right
arrow key to enter the respective sub-menu.
Press the
Left
arrow key to return to the next higher menu level.
From the top menu level, pressing the
Left
arrow key exits the menu
mode and returns to normal operational mode.
As a shortcut, pressing
MENU
in any sub-menu exits the menu mode and
returns to normal operational mode.
