Reference clock management
The reference clock management table displays and configures the reference
clock. See “Reference clock management table” (page 85) for information on
the reference clock management table.
Fault log
The fault logTable contains the 24 most recent faults that occurred in the
Passport 8250 device. See “Fault logTable” (page 86) for information on the
fault log table.

External clock primary
board RW The board carrying the primary clock reference port.
External clock primary
port RW The primary clock reference port.
External clock secondary
board RW The board carrying the secondary clock reference port
External clock secondary
port RW The secondary clock reference port.
admin reference clock
Source RW The source of the reference clock.
internal: The local reference clock is used as the clock
reference.
external primary: The reference clock is derived from the
external primary port
external automaticSwitchingOn: The reference clock is
derived from the external primary port. If the primary port
is not available, the Passport 8250 switches to the
secondary port. If the secondary port is not available, the
Passport 8250 switches to internal.
external Secondary: The reference clock is derived from
the external secondary port.
Oper reference Clock
Source RO The current source of the reference clock.
