Argument Description

The IP address of the DNS server.
Displaying the DNS Resolver Configuration
The
show ip dns
command, in Privileged (Enable) mode, displays the current configuration
of the DNS Resolver.
Command Syntax
device-name

show ip dns
Configuration Example
In the following example, the first IP address in the
ip dns server
command becomes the
primary gateway address and all others are secondary addresses. Because IP address
201.98.7.15 is the last address listed, it is also the last address consulted to resolve a query.
