GPS ME oscillator test

Context

The 26 MHz GPS TCXO is compared with the CE Ref Clk and the output is the GPS ME offset.

Steps

Place the phone in the flash adapter or connect a data cable to the phone.

Start

Phoenix

service software.

Select the

Bus Method

(FBUS or USB) and

Port

from the

Connections

box.

Choose File

→

Scan Product.

Choose Testing

→

GPS Control.

Select the ME Test tab.

Under Tests, check ME OSC offset.

Select Oscillator offset parameters.

Type in the correct parameters:

•

ME oscillator offset limit (Hz)

: 194

10. Click Start test.

Results

The Offset result will be returned and should be within the limits of +-194 Hz.
