GPS settings for Phoenix
GPS Self Tests
Prerequisites
Note:
The GPS tests runnable from the ME Test tab of the Testing
→
GPS Control window can be
run in parallel by selecting more than one test from the Tests list.
A flash adapter (or a phone data cable) connected to a PC with Phoenix service software is required.
Steps
1. Place the phone in the flash adapter or connect a data cable to the phone.
2. Start
Phoenix
service software.
3. Select the
Bus Method
(FBUS or USB) and
Port
from the
Connections
box.
4. Choose File
→
Scan Product.
5. From the Operating Mode drop-down menu, set to Local.
6. Choose Testing
→
Self Tests.
7. In the
Self Tests
window, check the following GPS test set:
•
ST_GPS_TEST
8. To run the test, click Start.
Self Tests: Basic functionality of GPS ASIC and I2C, HOST_REQ, and RESET_ENA pin connections.
