NOTE
: Flow control will be difficult to adjust while platform is in motion.
4. Repeat steps (1) through (3) until platform descent time is between 110
and 130 seconds.
4.3.10 Electric Emergency Pump Relief Valve Pressure
The pressure relief valve is integral with the pump body.
1. Raise platform to safety stop location. See fig. 2-1-1. Stop engine.
2. Disconnect the "Down" hose on lift cylinder check valve assembly.
3. Connect test gauge (0-3000 PSI), in line and reconnect hose.
4. Remove access cover over emergency pump (located on left-hand side
of chassis next to engine radiator).
5. Remove protective cap from relief valve on pump body and loosen
adjustment locknut.
6. While an assistant operates and holds the "Platform Down" and the
emergency pump "On" switches, adjust relief valve setting to 2,000 PSI
on the gauge.
NOTE:
Engine should not be running.
7. Tighten adjustment locknut and replace protective cap. Replace access
cover.
8. Remove test gauge and reconnect hose.
