Check security of wiring, ties, and clamps.
Check condition of lamps and security of fixtures.
Operate all normal overrides on directional solenoid valve
(in hydraulic package). Check for sticking valve spool or
override plungers. Replace valve if found defective.
Give system a complete functional check using controls
at both operator station and platform.
Check interlocks as described in Chapter 1
Check instrument panel and platform control switches for
waterproof sealing integrity and good mechanical and
electrical condition
Check toggle switches on instrument panel (especially
Stabilizer and Platform) for damage to the red sealing
boots at base of toggle. Also, inspect Engine On/Off/
Start toggle switch on platform pendant control. Close
visual examination is required. Move toggles to various
positions and check for deterioration of boot. Replace
complete switch if found defective.
Check platform pendant station for damage to flexible
push button membranes. Operate push button switch and
check for obvious deterioration of membranes. Replace
complete push button station if found defective.
Lubricate, using #10 general-purpose oil:

grease. Refer to the Spicer Axle manual in Chapter 5.
