Games Missing
It is likely that the hard drive is not properly connecting to the Wii
U console. Via the right door of the main cabinet, check to see if
there is a blue LED power light on the hard drive. It will be
illuminated if the hard drive is connected.
No blue LED illuminated:
•
Make sure the Wii U console is powered OFF.
•
Via the left door to the back of the Wii U console, disconnect
and reconnect the black USB cable.
•
Via the right door to the left side of the hard drive, disconnect
and reconnect the USB cable and AC adapter.
•
Make sure each cable is fully seated.
•
Power ON the Wii U console and GamePad.
Blue LED illuminated, but no games:
1. From the Wii U Menu, double-tap the
Misc
folder.
2. Double-tap the Wrench icon to access
System Settings
.
3. Tap the small Data Management icon, then tap
Data
Management
.
4. Enter the Parental Controls PIN code.
5. Tap
Copy/Move/Delete Data
.
Caution
Do not tap
Format USB Storage Device
. This
action deletes all games (erases all data from hard drive).
6. Tap
USB Storage Device 1
. There is a tile for each app.
installed on the system.
7. If no games are listed, then all games will have to be
