2. Insert the Wii Game Disc into the disc slot with the label face up.
3. Tap the Wii game icon on the GamePad touch screen.
4. Use the Wii Remote Plus to point at the TV and select one of the following options:
•
TV Only
—Gameplay displays on the TV screen.
•
TV and GamePad
—Gameplay displays on both the TV and the GamePad screen.
This is useful when the TV cannot be positioned for easy viewing, whereas the
GamePad can be propped on a table, chair, or lap.
5. The console powers ON to the
Wii Menu
. To select the Wii game, use the Wii Remote
Plus to point the cursor at the Wii game, then press the
A
Button.
6. To return to the
Wii U Menu
to play a Wii U game, press the
HOME
Button and use
the Wii Remote Plus to select
Wii Menu
. Then select the
Wii U Menu
and press
Start
.
Caution
Do not insert multiple discs into the Wii U console disc slot. Inserting
multiple discs damages the disc drive and can cause all discs to become stuck in
the console. Removal of discs will require the console be sent to Nintendo for
service.
