Following are two ways to connect your Fun Center unit to the Internet:

Ethernet Cable
•
Fastest and most stable connection
•
Ethernet port required
•
Wi-Fi Network
•
Most convenient connection

No Ethernet port required
2.6.1 MAC Address
To identify the MAC address, do the following:
1. Make sure the Wii U console and GamePad are powered ON.
2. Double-tap the
Misc
folder.
3. Double-tap the Wrench icon to access
System Settings
.
4. Tap the Internet icon.
5. Tap
View MAC Address
.
Consult your IT system administrator with questions on the best way to connect your Fun
Center unit to the network.
2.6.2 Ethernet Cable
There is a port for an Ethernet cable on the Fun Center unit underneath the main cabinet. To
use the Ethernet port, you need an Ethernet cable long enough to run from the Fun Center
unit to the Ethernet port in the wall or network box/router. You also need to install a LAN
adapter in the Fun Center unit.
To obtain a LAN adapter, choose one of the following options:
•
Remove a LAN adapter from one of your existing Fun Center units powered by a Wii
console. Every Fun Center unit powered by a Wii console has a LAN adapter and it is
not a sub-component that is used. Removing it from an existing Fun Center unit will
not alter the unit’s playability.
