XT V 160 X-ray System

8. Nikon Metrology use Agar 054x filaments. Make sure they are stored in the supplied box

and reinforcement, which prevents the filaments being bent if the box is turned upside
down.

1. Filament.

2. Ceramic base.

3. Pins for electrical
connection.

9. Wearing gloves, align the new filament with the filament holder, and loosely place the

filament.

10. Press with the tip of the bent nose pliers on the white ceramic base until correctly seated.

Take care not to touch any part of the tungsten wire loop.
