A D300 using i-TTL is a good news, bad news situation: the
good news is that this is arguably the most elaborate, user-
controllable, and accurate TTL flash system Nikon—or
perhaps anyone—has produced. The bad news is that you can
only use the very latest flash units with it, which may mean
purchasing new equipment.
