Use the Direction pad to navigate to
Language
and
press the
>
key on the Direction pad to select it.

On the new menu that appears, use the Direction pad
to navigate to the language you desire (the languages
are in rough alphabetical order (if you use their
International spelling)—German, English, Spanish,
Finnish, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese,
Russian, and Swedish, followed by the Asian
languages. Press the
>
key on the Direction pad or the
OK
button to lock in your choice.
Note: Changing the camera’s language only applies to the menus
displayed on the color LCD. Information displayed in the
viewfinder and on the top LCD and viewfinder remains in
Anglo-based icons.
Programming a Comment

The D300 allows you to place a short comment in the EXIF
data of every photograph you take. I suggest that you use it to
enter a Copyright notice on your images:
