can capture an image even if the built-in flash is
lowered but the flash will not fire.

, you must raise
the built-in flash to capture an image.
Turn the camera off
and then on again.
A lens error occurred. Do not apply force to the lens.
Turn the camera off and then on again to return the lens
to normal operation. If the error persists after turning
the camera off and on, contact your retailer or Nikon-
authorized service representative.
Speedlight setting

A Speedlight function that cannot be used with the
camera is set. Change the Speedlight setting.
Communications
error
An error occurred while communicating with the
printer.
Turn the camera off and reconnect the USB cable.
System error
An error occurred in the camera’s internal circuitry.
Turn the camera off, remove and reinsert the battery,
and turn the camera on. If the error persists, contact
your retailer or Nikon-authorized service representative.
