7. To check the SiOPS override functionality from the cage controls, while maintaining pressure
on the cage console, release either the footswitch or cage green button and then re-press the
footswitch or cage green button. Machine functions will return (Machine runs, pump flow is
available for machine operation.)
8. To check the SiOPS override functionality from the base controls. Repeat steps 4, 5 and 6
with a second operator, select the base control station. While maintaining pressure on the
cage console, press base green button. Machine functions will return (Machine runs, pump
flow is available for machine operation.)
9. Remove the pressure from the cage console and observe that the flashing green buttons, the
klaxon and the blue warning light should stop. Normal operation will be returned.
10. Power off the Niftylift.
13. Information explaining the applications for use relevant to the category to which reference is

14. Checking test intervals where relevant.
Check the operation of the SiOPS system to be made at the beginning of every duty cycle.
15. Proof testing
This two channel system must be proof tested to identify unrevealed failures every six months by a
competent person with appropriate safety function experience.
