BEFORE INSTALLATION, READ THIS MANUAL.

This manual provides precautions and procedures for installing the NIDEK Multifunction
edger, Model Me 1200.

Before installation, read and understand this manual and the operator's manual thoroughly.

In this manual, signal words are used to designate a degree or level of safety alerting. The def-
initions are as follows.

WARNING

• Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in death or

serious injury.
