8.2 Tracer Calibration
8.2.1 Full calibration
1 . Turn off the power switch of the LT-980.
2 . Unscrew FK2 × 3 (n = 4) to remove the Y
axis cover (40601-M351) and stylus cover
(40601-M108).
3 . Set the standard pattern (41476-M002) to
the pattern setting unit (40601-7000).
1 ) Pushing the end of the pattern set-
ting unit in the direction of the arrow
aligns the pins of the unit to the hole
positions of the standard pattern
(41476-M002).
2 ) Insert the two pins into the holes
and release the end of the pattern
setting unit to lock the standard pat-
tern (41476-M002).
4 . While pressing , , and , turn
on the power switch.
Use the standard frame (40601-7500) and standard pattern (41476-M002)
included in the standard accessories
(see 9.8 [p77]) .
Remove the Y axis cover
(40601-M351) by turning it in
the directions as shown to the
right after removing the
screws.
Caution
Set the standard pattern
(41476-M002) so that
“A” indicated on the pat-
tern is positioned as
shown to the right.
Confirm that the stan-
dard pattern is not set
askew.
