Alignment scale
This scale serves as a guide during alignment of the markings on the lens. The optical center of the lens
must be aligned to the scale center.
Position the lens so that the middle marking on the lens is aligned with the center of this alignment scale or the
markings become parallel to the horizontal scales.
The height of the horizontally long ellipse and the spacing between the horizontal lines of the alignment scale can
be changed by the corresponding parameters. See “4.1 Parameter Settings” (Page 63).
Frame center mark (+)
Indicates the center of the lens shape.
Magnification
Switches the magnification between ×1.5 and ×1 (actual size).
The lens captured image is not displayed in 1 magnification. The
setting is used to check the shape in actual size.
Lens material
Specifies the lens material [CR39 (plastic), HiIndex, Polyca.,
Acrylic, Trivex, Glass].
Lens type
Specifies the lens type [Multi (in white), Other than Multi (Multi
in gray)].
Frame type
Specifies the frame type [Metal, Plastic, TwoPoint, Nylor].
Polishing
The selectable options depend on the connected lens edger. Set them with the Polish/S.B Setting parameter.
When the Polish/S.B Setting parameter is set to LE:
The options are with polishing (Polish in white: polishing is on) and without polishing (Polish in gray:
polishing is off).
The Polish option can not be selected for glass lenses.
When the Polish/S.B Setting parameter is set to SE/ME:
The selectable options depend on whether safety beveling is on or off.
When safety beveling is on, the options are Polish, Pol (EDG), Pol (SB), and None (shown in gray).
When safety beveling is off, the options are Polish and Non-Pol (shown in gray).
The Polish option can not be selected for glass lenses.
Safety beveling
The selectable options depend on the connected lens edger. Set them with the Polish/S.B Setting parameter.
When the Polish/S.B Setting parameter is set to LE:
The options are with safety beveling (S.F.B. in white: safety beveling is on), or without safety beveling
(S.F.B. in gray: safety bevel is off).
When the Polish/S.B Setting parameter is set to SE/ME:
The options are Small, Middle, Large, Special, and None (safety beveling is off).
