5.5 - (Temporarily) memorizing a “utility” transmitter
The “utility” transmitter is memorized in the motor temporarily. It is used in all the procedures involved in programming, regulation and testing of the mecha-
nism. Upon completion of work this transmitter may be deleted by turning off the power to the motor or it may be permanently stored in memory as the “First
transmitter” using procedure 5.6.
Warnings:
– A transmitter can be memorized as a utility transmitter only if no other transmitter is memorized in the motor.
– This procedure memorizes the transmitter in “Mode I” (“Mode I” is explained in paragraph 5.3.3).
01. Disconnect the power supply to the motor; wait two seconds and reconnect the power supply: the motor performs two movements.
02. Then press the
s
key (the motor will not move).

Note – After memorization, the raising and lowering direction of the rolling shutter is not yet associated with the
s
and
t
keys of the transmitter. Association will take
place automatically during adjustment of the “ 0 ” and “ 1 ” limit switches; the rolling shutter will move in “hold-to-run” mode until the limit switches are adjusted. After this,
a simple impulse on the control will move it.

5.6 - Memorizing the FIRST transmitter permanently
Warnings:
– A transmitter can be memorized as a first transmitter only if no other transmitter is memorized in the motor, or only the utility transmitter is memorized.
– DO NOT use this procedure to memorize the second (or third, fourth, etc.) transmitter: use procedure 5.10.
– This procedure memorizes the transmitter in “Mode I” (“Mode I” is explained in paragraph 5.3.3).
01. Disconnect the power supply to the motor; wait two seconds and reconnect the power supply: the motor performs two movements.
02. Keep the
s
and
t
keys pressed simultaneously and wait for the motor to perform 3 movements. Upon completion, release the keys.
