Regular periodic cleaning is required. Special care should be taken when cleaning
around sensing heads to prevent damage.
DO NOT USE chlorine-based bleaches or
abrasive cleaners, as this will damage the stainless steel interior; or spray cleaners that
might leak through openings, getting on electrical parts; or cleaners that contain
solvents that can harm the coatings.
3.5 Installing Shelves & Humidity Pan
Shelving, shelf supports and a humidity pan are supplied with each unit. See Figure 2
and the instructions that follow for proper installation of these items, and Figure 2a for
a photograph of the finished installation.

Place the humidity pan inside the incubator, in the center of the floor.
See Figure 2a on the following page for a photograph of the shelves, fan cover, HEPA
filter and humidity pan in place.
Install the four shelf
standards: position the
keyholes over the pins
in the wall, then slide
the standard down,
fixing the pins in the
grooves.
Install the shelf sliders:

Align the ends of each slider
with a slot in the shelf standards.

Angle the slider toward the
slot in the standard, and lift
upward until the slider contacts
the top of the slot.

Rotate the bottom of the
slider toward the shelf standard
to complete in installation.
Repeat these steps for each shelf
slider.
