3.4 Cleaning
The unit chamber should be cleaned and disinfected prior to use. Remove all of the
interior parts and clean thoroughly, including all corners, using a suitable disinfectant
that is appropriate to your application.
Do not use cleaning solution on the HEPA filter. Be sure to replace the HEPA filter
periodically ( see Section 7.4 ).
WARNING!
Never clean the unit while it is connected to the electrical supply,
especially when using alcohol or flammable cleaners.
Always disconnect the unit from the electrical service when cleaning
and assure all volatile or flammable cleaners are evaporated and dry
before reattaching the unit to the power supply.
1. Remove adjustable feet
from the bottom of Unit 1,
and remove the blanking
plugs from the top surface
of Unit 2.
2. Using an appropriate lifting
device, place Unit 1 on top
of Unit 2.
3. Unscrew the two retaining
screws to remove the back
access cover of Unit 2.
This allows access into the
upper area of Unit 2.
4. Align the holes in the top of
Unit 2 with the threaded
foot holes in the bottom of
Unit 1.
5. Install the four 5/16” x 18
bolts, washers and lock
washers from inside Unit 2
up into foot nuts of Unit 1.
Tighten snugly.
6. Replace access cover on
Unit 2 using the two
retaining screws previously
removed.
