11 MaxiMailer HD Operator Manual
These Operating Instructions guide you through the stages of using the
machine. The machine is entirely software controlled, with all operator
functions being performed on the touch-sensitive control screen.
Different levels of user access can be allocated to personnel so that, for
example, configuration operations can be restricted to Supervisors, while
operators will only have access to straightforward running of the machine. The
sections of this document that relate to restricted access are clearly indicated.
The basic Operating steps
1. Create one or more named Operators, where you allocate a password
and access rights to various machine functions.
2. Define setups for:
Documents •
Envelopes •
Barcodes (if used) •
OMR Marks (if used) •
3. Create a configuration, which brings together your setups and lets
you select options for the inserter and each feed unit. Give the
configuration a name. Any number of configurations can be created.
4. Create a Job, where you select one of your configurations and name
the job. Any number of jobs can be created.
5. Select a user and job in the Run screen and begin running.
You will see a ? symbol available on each of the operating screens. Press this

5. OPeRaTInG InsTRUCTIOns
If processing OMR groups of document packs of
various sizes, the machine speed will decrease
automatically to suit the size of the largest pack.
This is to optimise the movement of large packs. It
will remain at the lower speed for the remainder
of the job, even if subsequent pack sizes remain
smaller. To resume operating at optimal speed,
press the Run button whilst the machine is running.

