4. Enhancements in Screen Resolution Settings
US110 can be rebooted with 640×480 (VGA) 16bpp screen resolution by pressing
F12
key within 3 seconds after splash screen (booting screen with NEC logo) is loaded
completely in case screen display is not possible due to unsupported resolution setting.
While using DDC 32bpp screen color can be selected.
It is possible to choose the resolution from the resolutions list supported by display device
while using DDC.
Screen resolution of 1920×1200 (WUXGA) can be selected while not using DDC. While
using this resolution, set the screen color as 16bpp. If 32bpp has been selected it will start
with 640×480 (VGA) 8bpp. Moreover, even while US110 is being displayed with
1920×1200 (WUXGA) 16bpp, during RDP connection it will be displayed with
1600×1200× 16bpp (Windows CE RDP5.2 Specification).
5. Support of Auto Reconnection of Connection Entry
When all the connected sessions are terminated in the Terminal Connection Manager, you can use
this feature to reconnect to the connection entry which was set at the [Startup] option.
By using this setting in the connection entry to be used, when all the connection entries currently
connected are terminated, in such case the configured connection entry will get connected
automatically.
6. Support for Display Power Save setting
Turn OFF the display backlight feature has been added.
7. Windows Vista Connection Improvements (Only English Version)
During Windows Vista connection, access restrictions of USB storage device connected to US110
has been resolved.
8. Bug Fixes
The issue of not able to use already configured printer during update has been fixed.
The issue of video corruption which was observed while playing video file of 640×360
size during WMV, MPEG1/2 multimedia acceleration has been fixed.
There was an issue of audio/video synchronization while redirecting some specific
MPEG1/2 video contents. Audio was ending earlier than the video playback completion.
This issue has also been fixed.
