Problems with Update

Auto Update Fails:

→

Automatic update may not work properly in a network environment using STP.
Take either of the following procedures to avoid the issue.

(1) Change the time to wait until network becomes ready, then enable PortFast

feature in the port connected with US110 or disable the STP.

(2) Set the time to wait until network becomes ready in [System Properties].

Update Fails:

→

File names described in list.txt are case sensitive. Enter the file name exactly same
as the actual file name.

Audio Problem after Update:

→

If the firmware is updated while the USB handset is being connected, power OFF
US110 once.

Cannot update using DPM:

→

The batch files (.bat) used to transmit update files to US110 through DPM must be
created in [ANSI] format.

Client Management Option reverts to Version 1:

→

The Client Management Option provided in US110 update is of Version 1. If your
US110 uses Client Management Option Version 2, applying the update module
will revert the Client Management Option to Version 1. In such a case, first delete
[002.ClientAgent.cab] from the [list.txt] contained in update module, then install
the update module.

About Software Phone in VPN Connection

US110 does not support software phone feature in VPN connection.
