Checking Software Version
You can check the version information of US110 OS in the following procedure:
When the US110 starts, [OS OEM Build Version] appears on [Preparation Status]. If the
US110 is disconnected from network, the [OS OEM Build Version] will not appear.
Double-click the [System] icon in Control Panel of US110, then select [Information] tab.
You will see the information of OS OEM Build Version and other application programs
installed in US110.
NOTES:
US110 manages internally the files (common txt, user-profile (user-
name.txt), prnlist.txt, certificates (.cer or others), and background
image (.bmp)), based on the created date of each file. For example,
assume that the US110 read the common.txt (created on 13:15,
November 15, 2007) from the FTP server. The US110 will no longer
read the common.txt having the same created date as long as US110
keeps access to the same FTP server even if "Automatically update
on booting" has been specified. However, if US110 accesses to any
other download server, it may read the common.txt file of the same
created date. This is because that the created date of common.txt file
may be different depending on the protocol and time zone of each
server.
By the default setting of US110, [Automatically update on booting],
[Use DHCP Options] are enabled and Option Nos. 161, 162, and
163 are specified. If these Option Nos. are already used for other
purposes in the network system that uses DHCP Options, you need
to change Update Settings on US110.
