3-14 Disassembly and Reassembly

Removing the Diskette Drive

A – Bracket Screw

D – Diskette Drive Cable

B – Bracket

E – Brown Cable Retainer

C – Diskette Drive

Remove the two screws fastening the drive to the bracket and set the drive aside.

Install a replacement diskette drive as follows.

Attach the replacement diskette drive to the bracket with the two previously removed
screws.

Tilt the bracket and slide it into the back of the front panel until it stops.

Installing the Diskette Drive
