Dry Wall with Metal C-Stud Frame Installation
For a dry wall with metal C-studs frame, NCR recommends to use a minimum of six
toggle anchors and bolts to secure the kiosk to the wall.
The wall must be prepared, mounting holes drilled, and anchors installed before final
siting of the kiosk. It is the responsibility of the owning institution to provide the bolts
and anchors for the kiosk.
For wall, bolt holes and anchor details, refer to the NCR SelfServ™ XK32 (2247) Site
Preparation (BCC5-0000-5377).
To install the kiosk to a dry wall, perform the following steps:
1. Install the Wall Bracket to the wall, see Installing the Wall Bracket - Dry Wall on
page 167.
2. Install the Main Frame, see Installing the Main Frame on page 170.
3. Install the Top Poles, see Installing the Top Poles on page 171.
4. Install the Signage, see Installing the Signage on page 172.
5. Install the Door Assembly, see Installing the Door Assembly on page 174.
6. Install the Display, see Installing the Display on page 177.
7. Install the Printer, see Installing the Printer on page 185.
8. If required, install the PIN Pad terminals, see Installing PIN Pad Terminals on
page 187.
