• Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to ensure the equipment is in safe working condition.
• Never store the equipment with diesel in the tank inside a building where flammable gas can reach the unit and ignite.
• Allow the engine to cool before storing in any enclosure.
• To reduce the fire hazard, keep the engine, exhaust muffler, battery compartment and petrol storage area free of vegetative material and excessive grease.
• Replace worn or damaged parts to ensure safety.
•
If the fuel tank has to be drained, this must be done outdoors.
• Keep the tiller in good operating condition. Operating the tiller when it is in poor condition could result in serious injury.
• Ensure that all safety devices are in good working order and that warning labels are in place.

Maintenance and storage
1. Place the blades (Fig. 2) on both sides of the tiller's transmission shaft. Make sure to securely tighten
the shaft and the blades with the appropriate screws.

3. In order to transport the tiller, set the drag bar in the highest possible position and ensure that the wheels are above the rotating shaft.
Assembly steps
See the appendix (pages 48-49 ) for the relevant pictures.
1. With the body of the tiller in a horizontal position, place the wheels on the hexagonal shaft of the machine, making sure that the holes in the shaft are on
the same side of the hexagon as the holes in the shaft. Then, insert the M8 x 55 screws and the M8 nuts and tighten them.
2. Assembling the controller: Place the controller on the tiller on the side of the toothed discs so that the surface of the toothed discs is aligned with the toothed
surface on the body of the digger. Place the controller in a position that is comfortable for the operator of the tiller. Next, place the M16 x 140 screw and the
nut on the handle and tighten the handle in the desired position. Then, connect the clutch cable, power cable and reverse gear cable to the handle.
3. Mounting the gear lever (Image 1): As shown in image 1, pass the gear lever through the two cables after having completely loosened the regulators. Next,
place the gear lever on the base which is found on the handle and secure it in place with the two washers and the cotter pin. Then, adjust the gear regulators
so that the gears can easily be snapped in place.
4. Air filter installation (Images 2-5): Install the air intake pipe with the three nuts as shown in image 2. Make sure to insert the flange between the head and
the intake pipe. Insert the flange shown in image 3 to ensure a tight seal between the air filter and the intake pipe.
Fill the bottom of the air filter (the part which has the hole, as shown on image 4) with oil. The use of 20W50 or SAE30 air filter oil is recommended.
Once the air filter has been filled with oil, attach it to the intake pipe and tighten the nuts, as shown in image 5.
5. Mounting the battery (Images 6-8):
Battery mounting accessories:
A) Black rubber flange 70mm x 140mm.
B) Screws M6 x 125mm (2pcs) with nuts.
C) Battery retaining base.
Place the rubber flange on the battery case and then on the battery.
Place the base (C) on top of the battery and tighten with the screws (B). Image 8 shows the battery as it should appear when it is mounted.
6. Adjusting the cables (Images 9-13):
Cables:
1. Starter switch.
2. Starter wiring.
3. Battery cable (-) (Body).
4. Battery cable (+) (Positive).
5. Light power cable.
Join the plugs under the handle cover as shown in image 9.
Starter cables (Image 10):
1. Blue cable on the starter solenoid.
2. Yellow cable on the (+) of the starter.
3. Red cable on the rectifier plug.
Positive and negative battery poles:
1. Place the (-) on the battery and place the other end on the screw of the valve cap. (Image 11)
2. Place the (+) on the starter. (Image 12)
Finally, tie the cables with the ties provided in the package. (Image 13)
Attention! Colours and shapes of components may vary.
7. Installing the mud fenders (Images 14-15): First place the supporting frames of the mud fenders on the tiller. Place the two small mounting brackets at the
front part of the tiller’s body, where the engine is mounted. Place the bigger mounting bracket at the rear part of the tiller, above the ridger. Place the mud
fenders, right and left respectively, above the mounting brackets and screw them in place with the screws provided in the package.
In order to install a ridger or potato extractor (both parts are NOT included in the packaging) remove
the drag bar and install the desired part in place.
