Performing F-Code Communications

Functions used with F-code communications

Utilizing sub-addresses and passwords enables you to use the following functions.

F-code security box communications
When the other party for communications has an F-code security box set, F-code security communications can
be performed by specifying the sub-address and the password (if necessary) for that box.
Unless the receiver of the security box communication inputs a speciﬁc I.D. code, the received document cannot
be printed out, which is essential for sending highly conﬁdential documents.

F-code bulletin box communications
When the other party for communications has an F-code bulletin box set, documents can be sent to the bulletin
box. The stored documents in the bulletin box can be retrieved (polling) by specifying the sub-address of that
box. (Password speciﬁed as necessary)

F-code relay command communications
When an F-code relay box has been set in a relay machine, specifying the sub-address of that box can perform
relay command communications. (Password speciﬁed as necessary)
At the relay machine, speciﬁed documents are sent (distributed) to the receiving party (distribution destina-
tion) registered in the box.
