Monitoring line sound (Monitor)
Press <Monitor> when you need to confirm connection with the destination before sending a fax, when sending through
manual transmission, for example.
Attaching sender information (TTI)
You can decide whether to attach sender information (name and fax number) to the top of transmitted documents.
Stamping scanned documents (Stamp)
You can stamp a document that has been scanned (or transmitted) using the ADF and check it has been scanned (or transmit-
ted). The stamp function is optional.
Entering a pause or hyphen for dialing (Dialing Option)
To insert the pause or switch the tone signal when dialing, enter the dialing symbols.
Dialing symbols are the hyphen (-), the tone (/T), the pause (/P), and the prefix (/N).
You can also use the dialing symbols when you enter the speed dial.
Confirming correct transmission (Transmission Report)
You can print and confirm the communication results including the number of communications pages or the communication
mode per transmission.
Checking communications history (Journal Report)
When total of the latest transmissions and receptions reaches 100 communications, the journal report for “Fax Tx&Rx” can be
printed automatically. When you set the time, you can use this report as the journal daily report which can be automatically
printed at a specified time every day.
Duplex scanning
The RADF allows you to send both sides of two-sided documents.
The RADF is optional.
Continuous scanning (Next Document)
For large volumes of scanning where the document cannot all be loaded at once, you can split scanning.
List
You can print the various lists.

Use this function when using the printer.

This function requests to enter the protect passcode for setting or operating the machine, allowing you to prevent the unau-
thorized use.
