• Never burn or dispose of the toner cartridge or waste toner bottle in a fire. Doing so may cause burns due to
scattered toner.
• Be careful not to stain the inside of the machine, your hands or clothes with the toner. If your hands get
stained, wash them using clean water or a mild cleaning solution.
• If the toner gets in your eyes, immediately flush them with clean water and seek medical assistance.
• Attach the cap to the used waste toner bottle to prevent toner leakage.
• When replacing the toner cartridge, cover the floor with a sheet to protect it from toner leakage.
IMPORTANT
• Shake a new toner cartridge five to ten times before attaching it. After attaching it to the developing unit,
shake it gently.
• Dispose of the used toner cartridge or waste toner bottle according to local regulations.
• If you remove the toner cartridge with the toner unevenly distributed inside it (because the developing unit is
tilted, etc.), the toner may fly out. Gently shake the developing unit several times horizontally before removing
the toner cartridge to evenly distribute the toner inside the developing unit.
