Using the Basic Function Menu
Adding to the Basic Function Menu
You can add frequently used functions to the Basic Function Menu that appears on the ready screen.
The following example shows copy functions.

Press the screen switching key ([
]) to switch the screen, and press the blank
key.
When the confirmation screen appears, press [Yes].

Select the function you want to add using the cursor keys and press [Enter].

The function you selected is added to the Basic Function Menu that appears on
the ready screen.
NOTE
• Up to 12 functions can be registered for each of the copy, fax, and scan modes.
• Advance functions that are added to the Basic Function Menu are deleted from the menu that appears when
you press <Menu>.
• You can also allocate common functions to the Soft Keys on the control panel.
