The clamp lock must be in the back and must be covered by
the appropriate protection.
 Then check the protective suit for tightness.
7 Possible variants
In order to allow the use of the protective suit
VAUTEX ELITE 3S-L-P with breathing apparatuses using other
MSA lung governed demand valve models, it is possible to install,
on the MSA model 3S-PF positive pressure mask, appropriate
adapters, or to replace the entire mask.
Possible variants are:
 Mask 3S-PS – with fast connection attachment – can be used
with MSA LA 96 AS lung governed demand valves
 As an alternative it is possible to fit onto the 3S-PF mask the PS
rapid connection adapter catalogue D2056115

Mask 3S-PS-MaXX – with fast connection attachment can be
used with MSA AutoMaXX-AS lung governed demand valves

As an alternative it is possible to fit on to the 3S-PF mask the
PS-MaXX rapid connection adapter catalogue 10031422
 Mask 3S – with standardised attachment EN 148-1 can be used
with lung governed demand valves LA 96 N and AutoMaXX-N
All the combination variations, together with the maintenance ope-
rations, must be noted on the protective suit card.
On request it is also possible to fit boots in different sizes as an
alternative to the size 46 boots supplied as standard.
8 Transport and storage
The protective suit is supplied folded and unpressurised. Sto-
rage must be in clean and dry conditions, in accordance with the
standards DIN 7716 and ISO 2230, away from harmful sustances,
protected from light and heat radiation.
Attention!
Do not put any force on to the material, the seams and on
the zipper while you are folding the protective suit!
9 Accessories

9.1 Special keys
The key D2055038 is used to disassemble and reassemble the:
 suit valves
 mask exhalation valve

mask sound diaphragm.
The key, cat. 10035756, is used for the assembly (and disassem-
bly) of the PS and PS-MaXX adapters on the 3S-PF mask.
