Switch-on, warm-up phase, zero point
After switching on, the instrument can always be operated, even if no gas
analysis can take place during the warm-up phase. The instrument inde-
pendently performs the following actions during the warm-up phase:
• Heating the probe and the heating hose
• Warm up the NDIR bench
•
After the operating temperatures have been reached, the gas pump
is switched on and the analyser takes the zero point with fresh air.

After the zeroing, the analyser is ready for operation
If the ambient air is contaminated during the last two minutes of
zeroing, the zero point is extended by approx. three to ten minutes.
If there is no serious zero point after the zero-point extension,
a message appears in the display.
NOTE
The temperature sensor can remain plugged in perma-
nently
– even when transporting the analyser.
ATTENTION

Be sure to connect a condensate drain to the con-
densate outlet to avoid damage to the analyser or
its surroundings.
A corresponding message is displayed when the an-
alyser is switched on.
