TOPPING UP
WARNING
Danger: clutch fluid could leak out. Do not operate the clutch lever when the brake fluid reservoir plug
(2) has been loosened or removed.
DANGER
Avoid long exposure of clutch fluid to air.
Clutch fluid is hygroscopic and will absorb moisture from the air.
Keep the clutch fluid reservoir (1) open JUST LONG ENOUGH to top up level.

Unscrew and remove the plug (2).
•
Remove the gasket (3).
WARNING
In order not to spill the brake fluid while topping up, do not rock the vehicle
.
Do not put additives or other substances into the fluid.
If you use a funnel or other tool, ensure it is perfectly clean.
•
Top up reservoir (2) with clutch fluid, see 2.1.3 (LUBRICANT TABLE) until bringing level above the minimum
mark

WARNING
Never top up beyond the MAX level.
Check clutch for proper operation.
Bleed the circuit when the clutch lever has exceeding travel or in the event of loss of efficiency, see
3.3.3 (BLEEDING THE CLUTCH)
