Trouble cause
The brake squeaks
The brake caliper is not fully tightened
Positioning springs are faulty or missing
Brake pads are worn beyond the limit
Brake pads are dirty with oil or grease
Wrong brake pads have been fitted
Brake disk overheats during normal operation
Pistons are blocked; brake pads stick to the disk
Brake lever has no backlash
The brake is jammed
Brake pads have a too high coefficient of friction
Brake disk is highly oxidized
Brake pads are extremely worn

continuously in contact with the disk
