10.2 Voltage supply via external video control unit
The MD3071A-V can also be used as a display for an external video control unit.
The voltage supply for the monitor then comes from the video control unit (Con-
nection IN-3). Here, too, video sources (cameras) can be connected to connec-
tions IN-1 and IN-2. Please note that this increase the operating current required
which needs to be supplied from the external video control unit. The current con-
sumption via connection IN-3 is limited to 1 A on the monitor side. Higher current-
ly levels will cause the monitor to switch off with the power button flashing red.
Connection is via a pre-assembled Motec system cable (e.g. MK73 xx).
