Press the “On-screen menu” button.
The on-screen menu is displayed.
Press the “Decrease” button and select the
“Video system” line.
Press the “On-screen menu” button to select the
“Video system”.
Use the arrow buttons to select the video system or
automatic detection.
Press the “On-screen menu” button and check the
box.
Press the “Decrease” button and select the “Exit”
line.
Press the “On-screen menu” button.
This exits the on-screen menu. If no buttons are
pressed, then the menu automatically exits after about
10 seconds.
5.2.2 PAL 480
Because of the format differences between the PAL video source (4:3 camera)
and the monitor (16:9 LCD), the subject is not displayed in the correct format.
The compression of the image lines from 576 to 480 LCD lines also has an im-
pact on image quality. This effect can be significantly reduced by selecting PAL
480, as shown in the example below.
