5.8 Restoring default settings
Selecting the “Default” function resets the settings for daytime and night time
brightness, contrast and colour. It is recommended that you restore these set-
tings after, for example, replacing a camera and then optimise the image again
by making appropriate changes.
Press the “On-screen menu” button.
The on-screen menu is displayed.
Press the “Decrease” button and select the “Default settings”
line.
Press the “On-screen menu” button to select “Default
settings”.
This resets the settings.
Press the “Decrease” button and select the “Exit” line.
Press the “On-screen menu” button.
This exits the on-screen menu. If no buttons are pressed,
then the menu automatically exits after about 10 seconds.

Resetting all the monitor settings to the factory settings (as delivered) is descri-
bed in the chapter “Expert Settings > Factory settings”.
