External switch output
The MD3071A-V monitor provides a 12 V output to switch external functions on
and off (see also “Application examples” chapter).
This control line is factory-configured as input SEL-3 for switching to video input
IN-3. For it to be used as a switch output, it needs to be configured as CTRL-
OUT-12 V (see chapter “Expert Settings > PIN-3 Mode”).
Note:
The on-screen menu needs to be closed (normal operating mode).
Press and hold the “Decrease” button to switch on temporarily.
Press the “Increase” button to switch on permanently.
Press the “Increase” button to switch off permanently.
The “ON” switch status
for the output is shown on the display by means of
the relevant button.
