Introduction
The TDY is a 2-wire (loop-powered) temperature
transmitter with a digital display. It is configured using
a personal computer (PC) and the software program
provided by Moore Industries.
The TDY
The TDY is an exceptionally accurate and remarkably
versatile temperature transmitter with display. It
transmits input from a thermocouple, RTD, direct
resistance, millivolt source, or a potentiometer as a
linearized, scaled, and offset 4-20mA. The output
signal is proportional (or, by user designation,
inversely proportional) to the input.
Available in your choice of explosion-proof or NEMA
4X enclosures, the TDY has certified protection in
even the toughest environments. Combine this with a
20 V/m RFI/EMI immunity, and you have a transmitter
that can accurately read and send temperature
information in some very difficult environments.
